A dashboard usually combines a sidebar, header, content grid, cards and data tables. Tailwind's grid, flex, responsive and spacing utilities can express the layout without writing a large custom stylesheet.

Design around information hierarchy

Use strong typography for primary metrics, muted text for supporting context and consistent card surfaces. On small screens, prioritize the most important information rather than simply shrinking the desktop layout.
